SMARTer Manager™ delivers Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) at its finest. At the center of this technology is our Object Manager which serves as a librarian, electronic lean board and viewer. The capabilities or the object manager are endless in the manufacturing environment and a must for quality control; giving you the ability to attach, manage and control all documentation, drawings and other pertinent data.

The Object Manager supports virtually all major file types: multi-media, CAD, Word DOC and Excel XLS files to name just a few. Using an explorer-like interface you can drag objects from other applications and drop them into the Object Manager. View any file using the object’s primary application, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or by using our object viewer. The real power of the Object Manager is its ability to associate objects with specific areas of SMARTer Manager™. The Object Manager is the ideal tool for linking QS or ISO-9000 documentation with specific jobs or for linking AutoCAD drawings with an inventory or Bill Of Materials item. With complete support for multi-media files, it is possible to associate both video and audio files with specific jobs or tasks. This is the ideal method for recording complex setup or process instructions, and minimizing employee training time.

The Object Manager also supports two levels of image markup or “redlining”. The Object Manager supports the markup or “redlining” of most standard image files, and our CAD Designer supports the markup of AutoCAD DWG and DXF files.
